Maple Syrup Festival at Bruce's Mill

On Friday we spent the day at Bruce's Mill with my girlfriend Erin and her two daughters Caitlin and Lauren as it is their annual Sugar bush Maple Syrup Festival.

Once again we had beautiful weather and we all enjoyed a walk through the forest and the kids were interested in seeing how the maple sap is collected from the trees.

There was lots to see and do and the kids enjoyed pony rides, the petting zoo and a wagon ride!
I think one of the yummiest parts though was our pancake lunch which everyone seemed to love!!

Enjoying the petting zoo.

Gabriel and his pony.

Emma with hers.

The whole gang.

Checking out the cabin.

Yummy!

The girls enjoying theirs too.

Seeing where the sap is collected.

Wagon ride.....with G not looking too happy!

Better now that we started moving!

Of course what day is complete without face painting?

Emma's butterfly.

Caitlin got pretty puppy paws.

And Gabriel got a "scary lion's paw"!
