Pint-Size Pottery

Today Emma and I started Pint-Size Pottery at our local library.
The class runs for four weeks and each week they will be making special projects to take home!
Today Emma made a stepping stone for our garden. Kathy the instructor will be firing them for next week so Emma can paint it.
Emma really enjoyed getting messy and using a rolling pin to smooth out the clay. Her favorite part was using a garlic press to make "spaghetti hair"

After they made their stepping stone, they were allowed to play with the leftover clay...this is when the real fun started!

How appropriate to start with something for your garden! I remember how much Emma loved looking at the rocks in your garden last year!!
