Emma has wanted rain boots ever since she saw her friend Maggie had a pair. Emma doesn't usually ask for things but the last few times we have gone out she has asked if we are buying rain boots.
Yesterday we went out and bought a rain jacket, boots and umbrella to match... She picked it out. It was a tough choice between lady bugs, fairies and butterflies! As you can see the butterflies won!
She put them on as soon as we got home and was very upset to take them off at bedtime.
I lost the battle today with the boots, but we compromised on a winter jacket as it was too cool for the slicker.
She has been looking for puddles ever since and I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I can't wait for it to rain to watch her jump!
